What we collect when you enquire or book, why we need it, how we protect it, and how long we keep it.

Who we are
Skate Surf Morocco SARL is the host and operator of your stay, and is responsible for the personal information described here.

This policy covers this website and the booking and contact forms on it. Bookings made through a travel platform are also subject to that platform's own privacy policy.
What we collect
When you use our trip builder or contact us, you give us:
- your first and last name;
- your email address;
- your WhatsApp or phone number;
- your travel dates, number of guests, package, room preference and any extras;
- your surf level;
- anything you choose to write in the notes or message box.
Please do not put medical or health details in the message box. If we need that information for your stay, we will ask you for it separately, at the right time.
Your browser also gives us automatically:
- your IP address and browser type, which we use to stop our forms being abused;
- the page you arrived from and the page you submitted from;
- any campaign tags in the link you followed, so we know which of our pages and adverts are useful;
- a short-lived session identifier, stored in your browser and cleared when you close the tab.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies, and does not load any third-party tracking or advertising scripts. We use two small pieces of browser storage: a session identifier that links the steps of a single visit, and a cache of the surf forecast so the weather page loads quickly. Neither contains personal information and neither is shared with anyone.
Why we need it
We use your information to run the booking you asked us for — nothing more:
- to reply to your enquiry and prepare your quote;
- to confirm availability and manage your booking and your stay;
- to arrange your airport transfer and plan your coaching group;
- to keep the accounting records the law requires us to keep;
- to protect our forms from spam and abuse.
We only send marketing if you have asked us to. That is a separate, optional tick-box on our forms, it is never ticked for you, and you can stop it at any time by replying to any message or emailing us at the address above. Booking with us does not sign you up to anything.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Who else sees it
Only the people and services needed to run your booking:
- our reservations team;
- our hosting provider, which runs the server your enquiry is stored on;
- our backup provider, which holds secure copies so a technical failure cannot lose your booking;
- our email provider, which delivers the notification of your enquiry to our own team.
How we protect it
- Your booking details are stored on a secure server, outside the public area of the website, and are not reachable from the internet.
- Access to our booking records requires an administrative key.
- Backups are held on a separate machine and are regularly tested by restoring them.
- Passwords and access keys are held in a protected file on the server and never in our website code.
No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
How long we keep it

About backups. We keep off-site backups so a technical failure cannot destroy your booking. When we delete your information it is removed from our live systems straight away, but a copy may remain in a backup archive until that archive expires in the normal cycle — currently up to about a year. We do not edit backups, because a backup that can be rewritten cannot be trusted to restore.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- send you a copy of the information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information;
- stop sending you marketing.
Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
Where we are required to keep a record for accounting or tax reasons, we will delete the surrounding detail — your notes, your IP address and your browsing and campaign information — and keep only the minimum the law requires.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and we will say what changed if the change is significant.
