Cancellation Policy
What happens if your plans change, and what happens if ours do.

The short version
If you cancel more than 15 days before you arrive, we do not refund your 20% deposit in cash — but you keep 100% of its value as a Stay Credit towards a future stay with us, valid for 12 months. Tell us as early as you can: we would much rather see you another time than lose you.
We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical treatment and sports activities including surfing. A Stay Credit is not a substitute for insurance — insurance is what gets your money back.
If you cancel
Notice is counted from the day you tell us in writing to your arrival date.

A new stay booked with a Stay Credit is subject to availability and to the prices that apply when you rebook. You are also welcome to simply move your dates instead of cancelling, which is often the easiest option for both of us.
How Stay Credit works
- It is a monetary value — not a reserved package, room or set of dates.
- It is valid for 12 months from the date you cancel.
- You can use it towards a future booking made directly with Skate Surf Morocco SARL.
- Your new stay is subject to availability.
- Your new stay is priced at the rates that apply when you make the new booking.
- If the new booking costs more than your credit, you pay the difference.
- If it costs less, how the remaining balance is treated is agreed with you in writing at the time.
- Stay Credit is not exchangeable for cash, except where the refund right below applies because we cancelled.
No-show, late arrival and early departure
- No-show — if you do not arrive and have not told us, no refund and no automatic Stay Credit apply.
- Late arrival — tell us your new arrival time and we will adjust your airport pickup. Nights you miss because you arrive late are not refunded, but you keep your room.
- Early departure — if you leave before the end of your stay, unused accommodation, surf and skate lessons, meals, excursions and transfers are not refunded.
Exceptional circumstances
Life occasionally makes travel impossible. If something serious happens — illness, bereavement, a cancelled flight, a border closure — tell us and we will look at your booking individually.
Where it is reasonable for us to do so, we will normally offer a date change or a Stay Credit rather than a cash refund. This is a case-by-case review rather than an entitlement, and it does not replace travel insurance.
If we cancel
If Skate Surf Morocco SARL has to cancel a confirmed stay and cannot offer you an alternative you are happy with, the choice is yours:
- another available date;
- a Stay Credit for 100% of what you have paid; or
- a full refund of everything you have paid us.
How to cancel or change your dates

Please put it in writing — a WhatsApp message or an email is fine — so we both have a clear record of the date you told us. That date is what the notice periods above are measured from, and it is the date your Stay Credit runs from.
Refunds
Approved refunds are processed as soon as reasonably possible using the agreed refund method.
We do not take card payments, so there is no card to refund to; refunds are normally made by bank transfer in euros.
Booking-specific terms
This policy applies to individual bookings. Group and private-hire bookings, and any exception we agree with you, are set out in writing in your quote or booking confirmation — where those differ from this page, the written terms you accepted apply to your stay.
